New Pharma is a truly unique and innovative online program to assist pharmacists with purchasing a pharmacy. 

The New Pharma program has been designed by industry experts and successful proprietors exclusively for potential pharmacy owners.  

The online diagnostic program will help prospective pharmacy owners to avoid the many pitfalls that exist in purchasing a pharmacy and set them on the right track to operating a successful pharmacy business. 

Developed by the Pharmacy Guild of Australia as an initiative of the Women and Young Pharmacists’ Committee, with the support of Guild Accountants and Meridian Lawyers, New Pharma is the indispensable resource for anyone wanting to buy a pharmacy business. 

Inspired by the work of the late Judy Liauw, who served as a Guild National Councillor and Vice
President, as well as chair of the Women and Young Pharmacists’ Committee, New Pharma is the
realisation of her desire to provide access to the right information in a simple and logical format for all young pharmacists considering ownership.

The Guild hopes that the development of New Pharma will see many more pharmacists become owners and prevent situations where young pharmacists are attracted into partnerships where they have little equity or influence in the business. In doing this, the Guild believes that the work done by Mrs Liauw will have a lasting legacy within the community pharmacy industry.
