Or you may already have performance reviews as a key component of your human resource activities. Understanding how to use this one-on-one time with your team will help you to deal with problems, resolve issues and clarify processes. It is also a fantastic way to engage and motivate your team.
The Pharmacy Guild of Australia is excited to announce the release of a new and updated version of the online course Effective performance reviews; an essential ‘how to’ for pharmacy employers.
This course, Effective performance reviews, is now available on myCPD and discusses the key actions that pharmacists who manage staff should take when discussing performance expectations, monitoring the progress of performance and formally reviewing performance outcomes.
This new version of the course will facilitate pharmacists’ learning through new material, interactivity, and new learning activities.
By studying this course pharmacists will develop the skills to:
- Identify the key drivers of employee engagement.
- Identify aspects of performance review processes and the key actions to take to prepare for performance reviews.
- Place three performance-related conversations in a performance review process.
- Identify performance feedback conversation structures.
- Identify the key aims of career discussions and the structure of a career conversation.
The course is free to all Guild members and employee pharmacists working in Guild member pharmacies. The course is available to non-members for $250, payable upon enrolment.
