Women’s Health:
Contraception and Menopause

The Family Planning Association of NSW is the state’s leading provider of reproductive and sexual health services. Working in collaboration with The Pharmacy Guild of Australia, Guild Clinical is pleased to announce an upcoming refresher evening event for pharmacists on women’s health. The aim of this session is to refresh and update pharmacist’s knowledge and understanding on contraception, menopause and related conditions.

Topics covered include:

  • Current contraceptive methods, their indications and contraindications
  • EllaOne (ulipristal acetate 30mg) as an S3 medication
  • Signs and symptoms of menopause
  • Clinical recommendations for management of menopause and related conditions
  • Complementary medicines used in management of menopausal symptom relief and related conditions

Time: 6.30pm – 9pm (light supper will be provided)

Upon successful completion of the session, attendees will receive a certificate of attendance to self-record 4 Group 2 CPD credits for inclusion in a pharmacists CPD plan for the year.
