Quality Care Pharmacy Program (QCPP)

QCPP is a quality assurance program for community pharmacy, providing support and guidance on professional health services and pharmacy business operations.

The QCPP team at the Queensland Branch offers pharmacies a free support service, provided by experienced pharmacists, retail managers and pharmacy assistants. The team can help pharmacy staff to master QCPP requirements and improve efficiency in order to achieve the best outcomes.

Throughout the accreditation cycle, the QCPP team can provide a range of assistance, including:

  • Implementation advice
  • Tips on creating processes to aid maintenance between assessments
  • How to develop an operations manual
  • Pre-assessment checks via pharmacy visits or phone appointments
  • Practical training services to brief new and existing staff and Quality Care Coordinators
  • Ongoing email and phone support to answer any questions
