Discipline Do's and Don'ts Workshop

Date: 15 November 2019 08:00 am

This half day workshop is intended to assist members in dealing with difficult workplace matters including disciplinary procedures and performance management.

We will use case studies based on decisions of both the state and federal industrial relations tribunals to demonstrate the industrial risks associated with disciplinary outcomes, and how members can avoid, or put themselves in the best position to defend claims.

Pharmacy Owners and Pharmacy Managers are invited to register for this interactive workshop which will enable you to:

  • Identify risks in terminating employees;
  • Assess various performance, behaviour and conduct issues in the workplace and identify the appropriate course of action;
  • Plan and conduct counselling and disciplinary meetings; and
  • Conduct investigations into workplace misconduct.
