My Health Record resources

Date: 11 July 2018

The Pharmacy Guild this week is beginning a national mail-out of materials to all community pharmacies to support the My Health Record initiative.

The mail-out coincides with the beginning of the three-month opt-out period for My Health Record, which runs from 16 July to 15 October. During this time anyone who does not want a My Health Record can choose to opt out of the system.

The Guild mail-out includes a joint letter from Guild National President George Tambassis and CEO of the Australian Digital Health Agency Tim Kelsey encouraging members to register for My Health Record.

To support members the mail-out provides each pharmacy with 1,000 prescription folders and 10 x tear-off notepads which pharmacists and their staff can use with patients interested in learning more about My Health Record.

The mail-out includes instructions on how to request further support and materials from the agency.

The Guild website includes a dedicated section on My Health Record including advice on how to register and also how to access myCPD training modules.
