NDSS Access Points

Pharmacies which are National Diabetes Services Scheme access points will soon receive special signage to alert patients that the services are available at the pharmacy.

The NDSS has advised that kits containing new NDSS-branded signage and resources to identify that the pharmacy is an NDSS Access Point will be mailed to all Access Points in mid-to-late January.

Additional updates on when the information will be sent out will be provided in the New Year.

From 1 January 2021, the prices of some NDSS products will change.

All price changes will adjust automatically in NDSS Connect. Updated NDSS Order Forms will be available from the NDSS website and from the ‘Forms’ menu on NDSS Connect on 1 January 2021.

To minimise any interruption to NDSS product supply in the Christmas and New Year holiday period, pharmacies are urged to ensure they are submitting their Sub-Agency Transaction Summary (SATS) frequently so that NDSS product stock is being replenished by wholesalers regularly.

The NDSS Helpline (1800 637 700) is available to assist any NDSS enquiries. The NDSS Helpline is available between 8.30 am to 8 pm, Monday to Friday, and from 9 am to 2 pm on Saturdays and national public holidays, including Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Day.
