Programs

The Pharmacy Guild of Australia administers and supports a range of professional pharmacy programs and services, including programs funded under the Seventh Community Pharmacy Agreement.

As part of its commitment to supporting the delivery of health care services by community pharmacies to the highest standards, the Guild also operates Guild Learning and Development, providing excellent training and support and continuing professional development to pharmacists, pharmacy staff and interns.

The Guild has also created several new programs to help pharmacies transform the way they do business and offer services.

Vaccination Services

Up to date information on vaccinations (including for influenza), including training details, resources, legislation and regulations.

Corporate Vaccination Program

The Guild Corporate Vaccination Program offers an economical and convenient way for employers to facilitate influenza vaccinations in the workplace.

Employee Assistance Program

Confidential and professional counseling services for pharmacists and pharmacy assistants.

Seventh Community Pharmacy Agreement (7CPA)

The 7CPA provides certainty and stability for community pharmacies, and ensures the delivery of world class services to patients.

The “I love rural pharmacy” video competition is back for 2024, with this year’s theme of “Adapting to a Changing Landscape”.

Cultural engagement video competition

In 2024, the inaugural “Cultural Engagement” Video Competition launches, with the 2024 theme being “Prescribing Health, Welcoming Diversity”.
