The Pharmacy Guild of Australia is a strong advocate for community pharmacy in the workplace relations arena.

Representation in the Four Yearly Review of Modern Awards. Major cases include:
Redrafting of the Pharmacy Industry Award 2020 and other awards
Penalty and wage rates case
Work value claim including the benchmarking & relativity case
Leave provisions including the Family and Domestic Violence/Family Friendly Arrangements
Minimum safety net provisions
Workforce Capability and Remuneration
Representation to Government on IR reforms and legislative changes
Representing the Guild in industry tribunals
Representation at and with the Australian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ACCI) and other employer associations
Representation at and with the Council of Small Business of Australia (COSBOA)
Submissions to Government on workplace relations and business issues
Working with unions and statutory bodies (such as the Fair Work Ombudsman, Australian Taxation Office and Australian Competition and Consumer Commission) with a view to resolving workplace and business issues
Small business national advocacy activities including rental/leasing, banking/financing, taxation, energy costs, digital disruption and future of work.
