The Guild’s engaging and highly effective national consumer advertising campaign was launched in 2014, with the aim of strengthening community pharmacy’s position as a trusted source of health service and advice.
The campaign’s objective is to encourage more customers (especially women aged 24-55) to visit their local pharmacy for advice and services.
All ads push the audience to the find a pharmacy campaign website, where visitors are prominently encouraged to ‘find a pharmacy’ near them with the services they desire.
These will be played in 'pre-roll', that is, the ads before catch-up TV and YouTube videos.
These videos will appear on the Ask Your Pharmacist website after clicking through from an online advertisement. We've already captured their attention using the cartoon characters in the advertisements, so these videos can be a little bit longer and transition to real pharmacists explaining how they can help with caring for children and parents.
The residents and pharmacy of Whatchoocan-Sea still have a whole lot more to say about how community pharmacies can help provide healthcare and services.
The Guild has created a series of Ask Your Pharmacist posters that build on the campaign messages and draw attention to services and advice offered in many pharmacies.
