Managing discrimination, harassment and bullying in the workplace - pharmacy owners and pharmacists


The Pharmacy Guild of Australia is excited to announce the release of a new course designed to assist pharmacy owners and pharmacists in identifying and addressing issues related to discrimination, harassment and bullying. 

This online course provides an overview of the governing legislation, responsibilities of senior staff and the pharmacy’s resolution procedure.

CPD Credits

This activity has been accredited for 1.25 hours of Group 1 CPD (or 1.25 CPD credit), suitable for inclusion in an individual pharmacist’s CPD plan, which can be converted to 1.25 hours of Group 2 CPD (or 2.5 CPD credits) upon successful completion of relevant assessment activities.

The learning objectives for this course include:

  • Identify the boundaries of discrimination, harassment and bullying laws
  • Identify behaviours that could constitute towards discrimination, harassment and bullying
  • Recognise reasonable and inappropriate behaviours in the workplace
  • Identify the best strategy for minimising the risk of victimisation
  • Identify employer/manager and staff responsibilities
  • Analyse case studies relevant to harassment and bullying
