A refreshed and reimagined Guild Community Pharmacy Award (GCPA) program opens today! Formerly known as Guild Pharmacy of the Year, GCPA will now recognise and celebrate three exciting awards in each Australian state & territory: Community Pharmacy of the Year, Community Pharmacist of the Year and Student Pharmacist of the Year. By reshaping the awards, the Guild aims to build a more inclusive program that elevates local innovation, strengthens engagement, and shines a brighter, wider spotlight on the best in Australian community pharmacy.
Winners in each of the three new awards – Community Pharmacy of the Year, Community Pharmacist of the Year and Student Pharmacist of the Year – will be awarded in each state and territory, with one National winner to be chosen from the shortlist of local winners.
“These changes will make the National Pharmacy Awards more inclusive and impactful,” Professor Trent Twomey, President of the Pharmacy Guild of Australia said. “They celebrate both the individuals and the pharmacy teams that are shaping the future of community pharmacy.”
