Shasi has worked in the HIV and viral Hepatitis prevention field since 2002. Prior to NSW Health, she had worked at the Bobby Goldsmith Foundation (Sydney), Malaysian AIDS Council (Kuala Lumpur), Mainliners (London) and QuIHN (Brisbane).Her areas of interest includes service development, health promotion, education, advocacy and planning. 

Shasi currently supports the strategic planning and development of the Harm Reduction Services in Mid North Coast and Northern NSW Local Health Districts.
