QLD S100 HIV Co-Payment Program

The QLD s100 HIV Patient Co-Payment Program provides reimbursement of eligible patient co-payments for Section 100 HIV antiretroviral therapy dispensed through Queensland community pharmacies. The program is administered by The Pharmacy Guild of Australia on behalf of Queensland Health.

The Queensland initiative is limited to eligible Section 100 HIV antiretroviral therapy medicines. The co-payment waiver applies to medicines used for the treatment of people living with HIV and does not extend to HIV medications prescribed for HIV-negative patients for the purpose of PrEP (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis). Eligible Queensland pharmacies can claim reimbursement for waived patient co-payments and receive associated service fees through the Pharmacy Payment Portal.
