World Pharmacists Day

This year, the WPD2021 theme is Pharmacy: Always trusted for your health. To celebrate the day - and, indeed, every day - the Guild has prepared a suite of materials that you can share across your social media channels and beyond.
You can also take part by reciting yours and your colleagues' experiences and examples of 'trust' in the past year, especially where the floods, bushfires and pandemic are concerned.

COVID-safe ways to celebrate
- Spending the day in the pharmacy? Put the names of your staff in a hat and have them draw one out at random. Ask each staff member to share something they trust about their drawn coworker.
- If you’re planning a morning or afternoon tea, remember to sanitise your hands regularly and opt for individually packaged or portioned snacks to minimise handling.
- Share a video message from your team on social media and invite your followers to share what they like best about you. (Don’t offer any medical advice online.)
- Organise a take home colouring in competition for patients of all ages.
- Print and share stickers from our toolkit – they fit on Avery 40mm round labels (24 per sheet)
