For distinguished service to pharmaceutical science and medicine, particularly topical drug delivery and clinical toxicology research. - Emeritus Professor Sarah Jane Roberts‑Thomson AM (QLD)
For significant service to pharmaceutical medicine, tertiary education and cancer research. - Nicholas Michael Logan OAM (NSW)
For service to the pharmacy profession. - Dr Constantine George Berbatis OAM (WA)
For service to the community of Perth.
“These honours recognise Australians who have made an extraordinary contribution to the health and wellbeing of their communities through pharmacy practice, research, education and leadership,” Professor Twomey said.
“From frontline patient care through to world-leading pharmaceutical research and academic leadership, these recipients demonstrate the enormous contribution pharmacy makes to Australia’s healthcare system.”
