The Member Census 2026 Promotion (Promotion) is a national trade promotion conducted by The Pharmacy Guild of Australia, ABN 84 519 669 143 of Level 2, 15 National Circuit, Barton ACT 2600 (Promoter) to encourage members to complete the 2026 Member Census.
Entry into this Promotion constitutes acceptance of, and all entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
The Promotion will be open for entry from 9.00am AEST on Thursday 12 March 2026 and will continue until 11:59pm AEST on Sunday 31 May 2026 (Promotion Period).
Entry is open to pharmacies that are current financial members of The Pharmacy Guild of Australia (Eligible Entrants). To enter and be eligible to win, Eligible Entrants must, during the Promotion Period, complete and submit the Member Census 2026(Eligible Entry). For the purposes of this Promotion, an individual completing and submitting the Member Census 2026 does so on behalf of the respective member, and any prize will be won by and allocated to a proprietor of the pharmacy.
Persons under the age of 18 are permitted to enter the lottery if they attain written parental/guardian consent.
Eligible Entrants can enter the competition once only during the Promotion Period. There is no fee to enter.
Elected representatives, employees, officers or contractors of the Promoter and other agencies, firms or companies associated with the Promoter (including suppliers of prizes), and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.
Prizes
There will be three (3) draws for the prizes. All draws will take place at The Pharmacy Guild of Australia, National Secretariat, Level 2 15 National Circuit Barton ACT 2600 (Draw Location). All draws will be conducted by a representative of The Pharmacy Guild of Australia, by way of random electronic draw.
The Promotor may, in its unfettered discretion refuse to accept an entry or disqualify an entrant from participating in the Promotion.
Entries that are incomplete or incomprehensible will be deemed invalid and will be ineligible to win.
There will be three (3) draws for prizes. The draws will occur as follows:
Draw 1: 31 March 2026, 11:00am AEST.
Draw 2: 30 April 2026, 11:00am AEST.
Draw 3: 1 June 2026, 11:00am AEST.
A total of twenty-three (23) prizes (Prize) will be awarded across all draws, comprising:
Three (3) APP2027 Travel Packages, with $8000 approximate retail value per package. Each package consists of: Two (2) APP2027 delegate registrations, flights and accommodation.
Twenty (20) prizes consisting of one (1) AUD$500 Visa Gift Card each.
The total prize pool is $34,000.
Each winner will receive one (1) prize only.
Prizes will be allocated as follows:
One (1) APP2027 Travel Package will be awarded in each draw to the first valid Eligible Entrant drawn.
Once the APP2027 Travel Package has been awarded in a draw, the remaining prizes in that same draw will consist solely of the Visa Gift Cards. A new APP2027 Package will then be available to be awarded at the start of the next draw.
The twenty (20) AUD$500 Visa Gift Cards will be allocated as follows:
Five (5) in Draw 1,
Ten (10) in Draw 2, and
Five (5) in Draw 3.
Each Eligible Entrant may win a maximum of one (1) prize.
Eligible Entrants that do not win in any given draw will automatically be included in subsequent draws for the duration of the Promotion Period.
A winner of a Prize will be notified by email and phone within two (2) business days of the draw.
The winners’ details will be published on the Pharmacy Guild of Australia website (www.guild.org.au) within four (4) days of the draw and remain online for at least 28 days.
Winners must claim their Prize (by written notification to the Promotor) within fourteen (14) days of the draw. Failure to respond within this period will result in forfeiture of the prize, and a replacement winner will be drawn. Any unclaimed prize winner will be notified in writing by the Promoter within seven (7) days after this period of claim has lapsed.
In the event that a Prize has not been claimed, a re-draw for the relevant Prize will take place on 10 July 2026, 11:00am AEST at the Draw Location, subject to any written directions given by State and Territory gaming departments, via random electronic draw.
The re-draw Prize winner will be notified by email and phone within two (2) business days of the draw.
The re-draw winner's details will be published on the Pharmacy Guild of Australia website (www.guild.org.au) within four (4) days of each re-draw and remain online for at least 28 days.
If a Prize is unclaimed by the winner of the re-drawn competition within one (1) month of the re-draw date, the Prize will be deemed unclaimed and the Promoter is not responsible or liable for any subsequent delivery or provision of the Prize.
In the event that a Winner is unable to use or enjoy a prize (due, for example, to any personal circumstances beyond their control) then they must notify the Promotor and the Promotor may, at its discretion, allow the winner to nominate another person to whom the prize can be transferred and the Promotor will use reasonable endeavours to transfer the prize accordingly. However, the Promotor is under no obligation to transfer the prize and may elect redraw a new winner at its discretion.
The Promoter will deliver a Prize within 28 days of each draw.
A Prize is not transferable or exchangeable and is not redeemable for cash. All other costs associated with (including but not limited to collecting and using) a Prize are the responsibility of the winners.
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of a Prize.
The Promoter will not be held liable for any claim, costs, loss, damage or injury which results directly or indirectly from this Promotion or the use or enjoyment of any Prize.
If, for any reason, the Promoter is unable to provide the winner with a Prize, the Promoter reserves the right to provide to the relevant winner an alternative prize of similar monetary value to the relevant Prize, subject to any written directions given by State or Territory gaming departments.
General
The Promotor reserves the right to cancel, amend or withdraw the Promotion or these terms and conditions at any time without notice.
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Australian Capital Territory, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australian Capital Territory.
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any entries not received by it for any reason during the Promotion Period. Entries will be deemed to be accepted at the time of receipt by the Promoter (and not at the time the entry is sent to the Promoter). The Promoter accepts no responsibility for lost, late or misdirected entries. The Promoter is also not responsible for technical difficulties with the mechanism that facilitates entry into the Promotion and does not warrant that that mechanism will be available at all times.
If for any reason any aspect of this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of computer virus, communications network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failure or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion and invalidate any affected entries, or suspend or modify a prize, subject to State or Territory regulation.
Any entrant who, in the opinion of the Promoter, tampers or interferes with the entry mechanism in any way, does not properly comply with the entry process or who acts in a manner inconsistent with the spirit of the Promotion, will be ineligible to win.
Incomplete, illegible or incorrect entries or entries containing offensive or defamatory comments, or which breach any law or infringe any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights, are not eligible to win.
The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify entries in the event of non-compliance with these terms and conditions of entry. In the event there is a dispute concerning the conduct of the Promotion, the decision of the Promoter is final and binding on all parties (including each entrant) and no correspondence will be entered into.
All Eligible Entrants:
consent to the Promoter using and disclosing their personal information for any purpose in connection with the Promotion;
consent to the use of his/her/their name and image in any material, including promotional material (Material) in connection with the Promotion and without any compensation to the Eligible Entrant;
consent to their personal information being added to Pharmacy Guild event, program and award databases, including but not limited to, the Australian Pharmacy Professional Conference and Trade Exhibition (APP), Pharmacy Connect and the Pharmacy Assistant National Conference;
agree that all rights, title and interest (including intellectual property rights) in the Material will automatically vest in the Promoter on its creation;
unconditionally and irrevocably consent to any act or omission that would otherwise infringe any of their moral rights in the Materials and agree to not institute, maintain or support any claim or proceeding for infringement of any such rights; and
understand that the Promoter's privacy policy (see https://www.guild.org.au/privacy-policy) contains further information about how the Promoter uses, discloses and stores personal information, and about how an entrant can access and seek correction of personal information.
To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any loss or damage whatsoever (including, but not limited to, direct or consequential loss) or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with this Promotion.
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax liabilities that may arise from winning the Prize.
The Promoter's decisions in respect of all matters to do with the Promotion are final.
These terms and conditions contain the entire agreement between you and the Promoter about its subject matter. Any previous understanding, agreement, representation, representation or warranty relating to that subject matter is replaced by this document and has no further effect.
