Mental Health First Aid is the help provided to a person developing a mental health problem or in a mental health crisis, until appropriate professional treatment is received or until the crisis resolves.
This Blended MHFA course is essential training for all pharmacists and front-line pharmacy staff and teaches staff how to assist a customer who is developing a mental health problem or in a mental health crisis.
This course is delivered by an accredited Mental Health First Aid instructor and consists of:
eLearning pre-work module (approx. 6-8 hrs). This is to be completed the prior to the half-day workshop.
Half-day ‘face to face’ workshop (4 hrs).
