Guild Corporate Vaccination Program


The Guild Corporate Vaccination Program offers an economical and convenient way for employers to facilitate influenza vaccinations in the workplace.

As opposed to existing workplace vaccination programs that involve in-office visits by healthcare professionals, the Program is flexible in that it allows staff to choose the date, time and local pharmacy most convenient to them (via the Guild member network).

COVID-19 update

Vaccinations may still be carried out during COVID-19; while we should all practise social distancing to slow the spread, please note that health care facilities are exempt. General procedures remain unchanged if you have triaged the patient and believe they are not COVID-19-positive.

What is the Guild Corporate Vaccination Program?

The Guild Corporate Vaccination Program is an employee vaccination program funded through contracts secured by The Pharmacy Guild of Australia. Participation is free and exclusive to Guild Members.

How does the Program differ from others?

The Program uses a unique booking link for organisations, rather than a voucher system. There is no paperwork required, except for sighting photo ID to confirm identity. There are no employer penalties for no-shows; employees can manage via the unique booking link.

Can I participate in more than one vaccination program?

Yes, the programs can easily run alongside each other; many pharmacies are already successfully managing multiple programs. If you anticipate that you may need to handle a large volume of vaccinations from the public, as well as corporate vaccination programs, consider rostering additional staff to manage demand.

IĀ use another professional service recording platform; can I record vaccinations in just that?

No, all vaccination services must be recorded in GuildCare NG for the Guild Corporate Vaccination Program. As all vaccinations must be uploaded to the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) – and given that most professional service recording platforms enable automatic upload to AIR – this may result in duplicate records.
