Guild Training's Quality Care Pharmacy Program (QCPP) is a quality assurance program for community pharmacy.  As part of the QCPP requirements all staff who supply Pharmacy Medicines and assist the pharmacist to supply Pharmacist Only Medicines must receive training via recognised and accredited course.  The unit, SIRCIND002 Support the supply of Pharmacy and Pharmacist Only Medicines meets this requirement. If you already have a GuildEd profile, you will need to log in and select S2/S3 from the Course List button. If you do not have a GuildEd profile, you will need to create a new account prior to logging in.

Training Requirements

Pharmacy staff employed in QCPP accredited pharmacies, who supply Pharmacy Medicines and Pharmacist Only Medicines, must complete:

  • Mandatory initial training via a Recognised Course in the supply of these products.
  • Ongoing Refresher Training: at least three hours per year.

This requirement is contained in Action 2.1 of T2C Supplying Pharmacy Medicines and Pharmacist Only Medicines Checklist. The QCPP Training Requirements page explains these requirements further.
