Queensland Government Flu Vaccination Programs

On 6 February 2026, The Pharmacy Guild of Australia, Queensland welcomed the Queensland Government’s decision to extend the Queensland Free Flu Vaccination Program for a fifth consecutive year.

The program started on 1 March 2026, fully covering the cost of flu vaccinations for all Queenslanders aged six months and older. As of 30^th September 2026, the program has now ended.

Participating pharmacies using the Medadvisor platform should have claimed reimbursement directly for all vaccinations delivered under the 2026 program by the 30^th of September 2026.Claiming through Medadvisor has now ended.

If you missed the deadline for completing a case in MedAdvisor, you will need to submit a reimbursement claim directly to Queensland Health by 31 October 2026. Instructions for claiming reimbursement from Queensland Health can be found here.
