Christiane Sier

Location: Brisbane West and Northern Brisbane Suburbs

Seeking: Part time or Casual employment

Relevant experience: I have completed an apprenticeship as a travel consultant, a role in which I worked for 10 years in customer service. There I managed complex and changing schedules, alongside complex and changing people-types. Evolving technology meant I was required to understand and integrate new booking systems across various platforms and keep abreast of developments in the airline industry. While raising my family, I externally completed a Bachelor of Business at the University of Southern Queensland. I majored in Administration and Accounting, and received a Dean Commendation for my efforts.

After graduating, I applied these business skills to our family building company, Sierra Renovations, which we operated for nearly 20 years. I was responsible for company operations and administration: I managed cashflow (which could be volatile with so many construction suppliers), communications across concurrent projects, relationships with clients and our staff, and ultimately profitability.  I am proud to say we grew Sierra Renovations into a sustainable and comfortable business, completing renovations throughout the western suburbs of Brisbane until my husband got sick in 2018. His illness got me interested in the pharmaceutical industry. As such, I have undertaken a Certificate II in Community Pharmacy with a view to become a reliable and enthusiastic support to a working pharmacy, its staff, and customers. I am a detail-orientated and organised person, who enjoys meeting and helping new people. I look forward to organising an interview at your earliest convenience.
