Victoria Branch Pharmacist Prescribing Training Fund
The Pharmacy Guild of Australia, Victoria Branch has committed $1.5 million to support the development of a full scope pharmacist workforce in Victoria.
This funding will assist Guild Victoria Branch members and their sponsored employees undertaking Australian Pharmacy Council (APC) accredited postgraduate pharmacist prescribing courses recognised by the Victorian Government, including courses delivered by Monash University and the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia (PSA).
What’s Available?
$5,000 reimbursement per eligible recipient upon successful completion of the course.
Funding is capped at one pharmacist per member pharmacy.
The scholarship is delivered as a reimbursement upon successful completion of the course by a Guild member pharmacist or their nominated employee.
Who Can Apply?
Financial members of the Guild’s Victoria Branch whose primary place of employment is in Victoria.
Sponsored employees of financial member pharmacies.
The scholarship is not available retrospectively to those who have already completed a recognised APC-accredited course.
