The Corporate Vaccination Process

Participating pharmacies will be paid at the rate of $19.95 plus GST per quadrivalent vaccine administered to eligible Department employees.

  1. Department employee books appointment online with a participating pharmacy of their choice. The Department employee receives a booking confirmation from the portal.
The Guild has developed an online booking platform, Pharmacy Bookings, to enable a seamless transfer of booking information from the employee through to your pharmacy via the GuildCare NG platform.
  2. The pharmacy receives an email booking confirmation from Pharmacy Bookings (GuildCare NG booking portal).
  3. The Department employee presents to the pharmacy at the booked time and shows their booking confirmation and government issued photo ID (e.g. employee ID,  Australian Drivers Licence, Australian Passport, Government issued Proof of Age Card).
  4. Complete the pharmacy’s vaccination consent and screening requirements as normal. Ensure the vaccinating pharmacist assesses the Department employee to confirm that the quadrivalent influenza vaccine is clinically appropriate before administering.
  5. The vaccinating pharmacist must complete all mandatory fields in the GuildCare NG Corporate Vaccination module.
  6. Administer the vaccination.
  7. Monitor the patient for 15 minutes as per normal vaccination procedures. Hint: this is a great opportunity to showcase your pharmacy, discuss other professional services and talk with the employee about their health.
  8. Following successful completion of the vaccination process, it is the pharmacies responsibility to ensure the GuildCare NG case is completed. Note: The pharmacy will only be reimbursed on the completed cases via the GuildCare NG Corporate Vaccination module.
