This year, Western Australia is facing a potentially severe influenza season following two years of international and state border closures.
The WA Department of Health, through the ‘Free Jab June’ Programme is providing free influenza vaccinations for all Western Australians aged 5 years and over, from 1 to 30 June 2022, as additional protection against the virus.
Community pharmacies can participate in the ‘Free Jab June’ Programme.
The Pharmacy Guild of Australia (WA Branch) is acting as the Payment Administrator for the ‘Free Jab June’ Programme on behalf of the WA Department of Health.
To register to participate, and therefore receive payment for vaccine administration in the ‘Free Jab June’ Programme, community pharmacies MUST complete a Service Level Agreement (SLA) and agree to its terms for operation, reporting and payment.
ONLY one SLA is required per pharmacy.
Reimbursement only applies to influenza vaccine administration from 1 to 30 June 2022.
