Pharmacist immunisers are reminded that they need to complete relevant training modules prior to administration of vaccines. This is particularly relevant as more vaccines are being added to the pharmacist vaccination scope.

Pharmacists that have successfully completed the pharmacist immunisation training in WA are reminded of the requirement to update the following annually:
CPR Certificate HLTAID001 / HLTAID009 - Guild Members and their staff can access discounted training (15% discount) with the Royal Life Saving Society WA by booking online at royallifesavingwa.com.au and entering code SHOPRITE at checkout. (NOTE: HLTAID001 / HLTAID009 is not required if HLTAID003 / HLTAID011 was completed in the last 12 months)
Influenza Online Module - The influenza module has been developed by the Communicable Disease Control Directorate (CDCD) and WA Health, to support immunisation providers undertake an annual refresher in this topic and provides up-to-date information on influenza immunisation.
2023 Influenza Module will be available in April 2023.
This module should take approximately 2 hours to complete.
You are required to complete the final assessment with a passing score .of 80%
Upon successful completion of the assessment, please ensure you print out and retain your certificate for evidence of completion.
