WA Free Influenza Vaccination Program 2022

Western Australia is facing a potentially severe influenza season in 2022 following two years of international and state border closures.

The WA Department of Health is continuing to provide free influenza vaccinations for all Western Australians aged 5 years and over, during the month of July, as additional protection against the virus.

Community pharmacies can participate in the WA Free Influenza Vaccination Program.

How to apply and ensure payment

The Pharmacy Guild of Australia (WA Branch) is acting as the Payment Administrator for the WA Free Influenza Vaccination Program on behalf of the WA Department of Health.

To participate, community pharmacies MUST complete a Service Level Agreement (SLA) and agree to its terms for operation, reporting and payment. If you have not yet completed an SLA and would like to participate please contact the WA Branch.

Reimbursement only applies to influenza vaccine administration during June and July 2022
